Ms. Young is an experienced multifamily operations executive with over 30 years of experience managing diverse portfolios, leading large teams, and driving transformative outcomes for real estate assets nationwide. She has excelled at executing asset growth and turnaround strategies, accelerating performance improvement, and maximizing investor ROI. She has an exemplary track record of building and leading top-performing teams across many states, managing P&L, coordinating acquisition due diligence and integration, and cultivating strong relationships with owners, residents, contractors, vendors, and strategic partners.

Prior to rejoining Friedman Real Estate, Ms. Young oversaw a portfolio spanning roughly 11,000 apartment homes in 7 states, with diversified property classes, types, and sizes. Her previous roles included senior director of asset management, VP of property management, managing director, and director of operations for sponsors, third-party management companies, and owner-operated companies. She brings a unique perspective, having experience in both property management operations and ownership viewpoints. Her passion lies in supporting the teams, building genuine relationships, living the culture, and achieving the company’s objectives. Over the years, Amy has developed a stellar reputation for driving operational initiatives, improving organizational effectiveness, and achieving ownership objectives.
