The site marks North Italia’s 16th U.S. location. In has additional locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
Fox Restaurant Concepts, founded by Sam Fox, previously opened True Kitchen in Boca Raton, but the group no longer owns the restaurant.
“Fox is interested in opening more restaurants in the Miami area in the future, and [Sam] is always looking for real estate opportunities,” according to a company spokeswoman.
Founded two decades ago, Fox Restaurant Concepts employs over 50,000 people in more than 50 locations nationwide.
Other eateries at the Shops at Mary Brickell Village include Toscana Divino, Subway, Candela Gastro Bar, Balans Restaurant & Bar and the Craftsman.
